My background

After earning my engineering degree in 2020 from ISA BTP in Anglet, I pursued a PhD in Civil Engineering, specializing in urban acoustics, at the Pau and Adour University.

Following my PhD defense in 2023, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Urban Physics, during which I also taught courses at an engineering school.

Today, I am taking on a new challenge by leveraging my dual academic and teaching experience to launch an entrepreneurial project. This initiative aims to commercialize research outcomes from public institutions through a startup supported by the CNRS and the South Aquitaine Innovation University Hub.

My vision of the role of ambassador

I wish to leverage my career to foster a better understanding of PhD among young people, companies, and institutions.

I advocate for a dynamic and modern vision of the PhD: a recognized qualification that is aligned with current challenges in digital, environmental, and social transitions.

My goal is to highlight the strengths of young PhD holders, emphasizing their innovation, creativity, and rigor, whether in academia, industry, or local communities. I also stress the importance of showcasing the experiences of international PhD candidates and those with disabilities, fostering a more inclusive representation of the young researcher community.

I have participated in two initiatives to promote PhDs among local economic stakeholders:

• The PhD-Enterprise Challenge, organized by PÉPITE Entrepreneuriat Campus Aquitaine in La Rochelle in 2024, which addresses real-world business challenges in the region.
• The Starthèse Challenge in 2025, a national event aimed at raising awareness about entrepreneurship among early-career PhD holders.

I am committed to continuing this momentum and developing new forms of dialogue between researchers and businesses to better demonstrate the added value of PhDs for the regional economy and innovation.
